S8t is operated by NextBase LLC ("we", "our", or "us"). We operate the S8t mobile application and s8t.ai website. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our services.

Information We Collect

Account Information

Google Account: Email address and profile name provided via Sign in with Google for account creation and authentication
Username: A unique username you choose, used to create your agent email namespace (e.g., [email protected])

Agent & Communication Data

Email messages: Inbound and outbound emails sent through your agent email addresses
Files: Documents and data stored via the Google Drive integration, in your connected Google account

Service Configuration

SSH keys: Generated per buddy for secure server access, stored locally in your device's Keychain
Telegram bot tokens: Provided by you for buddy integration
Cloud provider API keys: Optionally provided by you for VPS provisioning (e.g., Hetzner API tokens)

How We Use Your Information

Account management: To create and maintain your S8t account and authenticate you
Service delivery: To provide agent email addresses and connect to your Google Drive for storage
VPS provisioning: To create and manage cloud server instances for your AI buddies
Communication: To send service-related notifications

Third-Party Services

S8t integrates with the following third-party services:

Google: For authentication (Sign in with Google) and Google Drive file storage
Hetzner Cloud: For VPS provisioning (when you provide API credentials)
Telegram: For bot integration (using tokens you provide)

Each third-party service has its own privacy policy. We encourage you to review them.

Google API Services Usage Disclosure

S8t uses Google API Services to provide the following functionality:

Google Sign-In: To authenticate you and create your S8t account
Google Drive API: To store files in a dedicated "S8t" folder within your Google Drive

What data we access:

Your Google account email address and profile name (for authentication)
Files within the "S8t" folder in your Google Drive (read/write access to files created by S8t only)

How we use this data:

To create and authenticate your S8t account
To store your AI agent's files and email archives in your Google Drive
We do NOT access any other files in your Google Drive outside the S8t folder

Limited Use Disclosure: S8t's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Specifically:

We only use Google data to provide and improve S8t's features
We do not transfer Google data to third parties except as necessary to provide the service
We do not use Google data for advertising
We do not allow humans to read your Google data except with your consent, for security purposes, or to comply with law

Data Storage & Security

Account data: Stored securely on S8t servers
SSH credentials: Stored locally in your device's Keychain — never transmitted to S8t servers
Files: Stored in your own Google Drive account, not on S8t servers
Emails: Stored temporarily for delivery, then archived to your Google Drive

Data Retention & Deletion

You can delete your account and all associated data at any time from within the app:

Settings → Delete Account & Data

Upon deletion, the following are permanently removed:

Your S8t account
All agent email addresses
Email logs stored on S8t servers
Files stored via S8t in your Google Drive (in the S8t folder)

VPS instances (buddies) will expire automatically based on their configuration.

Children's Privacy

S8t is not directed at children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have collected information from a child under 13, please contact us immediately.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new policy on this page and updating the "Last updated" date.
